Electrical Service Engineer - Sugar Industry

Spares & Service Division. 

Experienced electrical service engineer required by Broadbent, market leading supplier of industrial centrifuges to the world’s sugar industry. We are seeking candidates with experience in the following areas:

·         Commissioning and optimising of operation

·         Fault finding and performance analysis

·         Installation of control and drive systems

·         PLC programming, paramatising and drive set up

The ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team is vital as are good communication skills. Attention to detail, quality of work and health and safety are essential.

Previous experience on sugar centrifuges would be an advantage. Alternately, experience with other sugar equipment or rotating machinery would be considered. Other useful skills include basic mechanical engineering and knowledge of pneumatics.

Requires flexibility and a can-do attitude.

Based in our headquarters in Huddersfield, job will require regular overseas travel.  Candidates must possess clean driving licence and passport.
