Broadbent exhibit at ISSCT 2010. Veracruz Mexico.

Broadbent's Sugar Division attended the ISSCT exhibition and congress in Veracruz during March 2010. The stand displayed the range of Broadbent batch, high grade and low grade centrifugals. Also featured were special diasplays related to :

• The use of decanter centrifuges for cane mud and an alternative or supplement to existing RVF's on syrup clarifier underflows. The decanter displays were based on Broadbent's expererience at USSC in Clewiston Florida.
   
• A new optical feed limiter for batch centrifugals.

Also on display was Broadbent optical feed limiter which will be availalbe later in 2010. This unit allow the continuous measurement of cake thickness in the batch centrifugal basket. This new system provides a range of process benefits to the user of batch centrifugals.
