Broadbent and Borun Serving the Chinese Coal Industry.

Thomas Broadbent & Sons Ltd of the UK and Borun Process Industrial Technology Co Ltd Shandong PRC have formed an agreement to part manufacture, sell and support Broadbent high capacity decanter centrifuges for Coal fines dewatering in the Peoples Republic of China.

Broadbent design and manufacture a wide range of centrifuges for many applications including models produced specifically for coal and mineral duties. These high capacity mineral decanters are capable of separating up to 60 tonnes per hour of dry coal from a fine coal slurry.

Borun have manufacturing facilities for decanter centrifuges in the PRC and are well placed to serve the important and growing Chinese coal and mineral industries. Borun specialise in the application of wear resistant material used to protect process equipment in mineral processing applications from excessive wear.

The agreement between Broadbent and Borun is designed to utilise the joint strength of the two companies to offer a large coal decanters based on Broadbent’s proven design and manufactured jointly by Broadbent and Borun to the PRC coal industry.

Local support for the products will be provided by Borun and also through Broadbent’s own Chinese service company, Boradbent China, located in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province.
